Yes,I'm with invisible monsters,but I play with 0 steps encounter rate(I must be mad,but I like it like this because I can level up decently ) and I'm leveling up at scarlet river,I'm level 18 with Marine and 15 with Benoit,should I level Marine up like I did in normal mode to get her promotion early or should I go now?

What are you waiting for? That's quite a high level even for hard mode. I remember getting her promotion after the swamp.

AFTER ,in normal mode I got the promotions for everyone BEFORE the swamp

I think Marine was before the swamp. But Benoit and Karine was after. And I don't level up, it's more enjoyable if I fight strategically.

You never level up for nothing. Leveling up is always good. But you need patience and perseverance which I don't have.

You should,it really comes in handy in tough situations as the swamp(I got lost first time and I needed to survive somehow) plus,you start the new game more prepared for what it's coming next(I did this in laxius force 1 where I leveled up Random ,Sarah and Cocka to level 50(Cocka was a nightmare,I killed enough wraiths for the whole life ,but helped,the rest of the game was piece of cake )

I didn't said I like piece of cake,but helps to get everything in the game,but survival race is a little too much,and anyway there will be a point where you will reach the max level and the monsters will be for that level
What level should I be to challenge the rogue(just to be sure) ?

Whatever level you are you're good to go. Be brave.

You won't find anyone braver then me when it comes to battles ,but that thing is quite powerful(trough there is nothing in Indy's games that I couldn't overcome,like the morph demon)
