Just turned 58 and still playing games LOL I started gaming when the original nintendo deck first came out. Oh my that makes me old. LOL

I started on an Odyssey which blew up a couple of TVs before we quit using it and then graduated to an Atari 2600 which almost caused a divorce because we didn't have enough money to buy it and my husband borrowed money from Household Finance at 18% interest and gave them my car title that had just been paid off as collateral.

Stealth, Sorry, you can't claim the title of oldest!! :razz:

I'm 71 and my sister (Granny C) is 75, so we beat you by a few years!! +::biggrin

We also started 'way back when' and have loved playing this stuff ever since! Indy's games are right at the top of the list for the best games! Then maybe Everlong and the Aveyond ones! We probably have a gazillion games on our puters, but hope some of the oldies will still work when we have to change to new operating systems! May just keep the old puters to play games on....... nope, wouldn't ever use the newer ones!! +::biggrin

I ordered my new computer from a specialty store in the area. I told them I didn't want Vista because I didn't want to have to buy all my apps/games again. I got a really good price on a machine that does exactly what I want it to do and I got my XP to boot. I will hold out to the end. Plus on one of the tax free weekends here in Georgia, my husband got a second processor for less than $250 dollars. It has XP and all he uses it for is to check mail. If I have to, I'll hijack it and get him a vista machine to check his email.

playing on one machine or another ever since. Indy, I never thought anything could compete in my mind with the Final Fantasy series, but by George, I think you've done it!! I prefer hand helds, both psp and
ninendo ds. Any chance of hitting those markets?

I think I have most of you beat - I'm 54, but I still feel 18!

My first computer didn't even have an internal hard drive. It was from Radio Shack and everything came on floppies - the big ones - 5 1/4 inch ones. We have come so far! I'd never go back to those days.
