I'm stuck inside a game

I'm playing Asguaard, which I realize is an old game, and am stuck trying to use the flying machine in the center of the world. The characters are in the machine, the directions say to use F7 to stop it, but that doesn't work. I can't find any way to stop it or get off it. Pressing esc to go back to the menu doesn't do anything either. I've scoured the forum page for this game and found that others had the same problem, but I found no solution given. No one seems to be monitoring the forum any more.
Right now I'm going to ctrl-alt-del to get out of the game, but I'm hopeful someone from this page will have a solution for me. Thank you.

You can send me your savefile:
aldorlea@googlemail.comIn general such problem happens because the computer for some reason doesn't recognize properly the F7 key, but I'll check on my end if it works.

Thank you, I will do that. My save file begins in the inventor's cave within a cave, so a few screens prior to actually flying.

Maybe save just before flying if you can.

I'm finding that I don't know how to send you the game file. I googled it, and those suggestions weren't successful. How do you recommend I do it?

They should be in that folder:
C:\Users\[Your Name]\AppData\Roaming\Asguaard_Saves

If you just type %appdata% into your Title Bar, it will bring you right to the Asguaard folder. The title bar is at the top of the Windows Explorer window where you'd usually see >Home> or >Desktop> or wherever the default Windows Explorer location is.

Well, apparently I'm at the peak of my internet acumen. I tried both your suggestions and also did lots of google searching, but so far no success at finding the folder you described.

I copied and pasted the link Indinera suggested and got a page saying there was nothing there. Then I tried Lady JJ's phrase and got a link telling me how to find my app data. I went through those steps as best I could and got nowhere.
I appreciate your attempts to help me, but sounds like I won't be able to finish the game. Even if the F7 key works for Indinera, there's no guarantee there's a way to make it work on my computer.
Thanks again!

Did you try pressing the function key, like you would a shift key, when pressing F7? The function key is on the lower left of your keyboard, just to the right of the control key. Mine says 'fn' but yours might say 'function' I'm assuming you're using a Windows computer.

It's a Windows computer with an older keyboard that, for some reason, has no function key. Hubs and I both looked carefully.
