Just keep walking around and eventually he will find you.

If I've reached a certain level do I lose my chance to complete the tricky imp quest? I have had no luck in finding that imp in Eternal Autumn. I have two little tricky imps in my house, but I don't think that counts.

I think I was level 50s when I fought him. You have to have the quest. You get it at the Inn North of the woods where the Imp is. A lady by the stairs tells you a tricky imp stole her money.

I am also looking for him,but...do you need to have a certain amount of money so he can atack you, since he stole that poor woman's money?

I don't think so. I think you just need the quest and to wander around until he finds you.

I don't know if this made the difference or not, but after trying to find him
about 100+ times, he hit me immediately on enter the woods from the west
right after I entered the JU-JU house and getting the 4th piece of map.
I'm wondering if one of those quests tricked the Imp. Dee, you had it
early on, do you remember if you had been to Ju-Ju house first??

No. I got him before I even know how to get into the Ju-ju house.

okay, I had been in at level 50+ before, so I don't think that was it. But, the
other big difference is that I had that nice *chunk of change* acquired with
the 4th piece of map....must be money related!! Any comment, Indy???

I think it's just random. Sort of like the Thieves Den Map in MM1. Indy's just making us work for it.
