THIEVES DEN - CRASH

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem. In the Midlands of Myst I used the Thieves Den Map and there was a major crash. A notice came up which listed a lot of things I didn't read. It also said to escape press F8 which I did. Now I can't enter a cave, a town or go to the next screen. I'm STUCK going nowhere and I don't have a previous save I can revert to and I finally have a fair bit of money to spend. Please advise.

That has been fixed. You have to redownload the game and reinstall.

anyway the thieve's den can only be entered in the first game.

yes in MM2 you can't enter it

what does marine say if you use her skill "talk"?
