There seems to be several items you can unlock at random

I have found:
mage's acolyte
crude ring
void ring

I am wondering how many more there are, which ones are unique, which one would I want for a perfect playthrough, etc..
so far i haven't been able to equip any of them although i admittedly haven't made it very far yet and
only noticed it when i started a new playthrough

also it seems like the item may be randomized at the start of the game instead of just before opening the chest but im not sure on this

I got a Tank Ring from that chest. I don't know which is best as I haven't seen the other 3.

when sth is "random", i want it to be RANDOM lol

The Crude Ring can be found in another place in the game.

I didn't find another Void Ring or Tank Ring or Mage's Acolyte during this play thru. I'm not sure that that is all of the items that can be found though.

I tried to sell the Crude Ring at the Frozam House and and was offered 0 Gold for it.

I think whatever you got out of the Locked Chest in The Traveler's Acolyte was also found in Gigantine Cave. I have two Crude Rings in my current inventory and none of the other rings.

The first time I played I had 2 Mage's Acolytes.
