I've collected 8 charms.

But I can not see any charms in Myst Shrine in the Midlands of Myst.

I'm stuck here. Someone help me.....

You need to download the latest version of the game. That quest was flawed.

Stuck on 8 charms, tho I checked and double-checked all the locations. My M2 download was Dec 22 09, does that count as an old or new version? Should I reload? Thanks.

In addition to that unseen charm in Myst Shrine, my game always (i mean ALWAYS) crashes in Gigantine Lair.
I don't understand the crash message, and it happens so quickly. The message was displayed, and *poof*, my screen turned into the famous blue screen.
After about 10 crashes or so, I decided to replay Millennium A New Hope on Hard Mode, it crashes also in Rocky Path.
Oh my God, such a bad luck.
Maybe I should download the new version of M2.

Hmmm I suspect it is a problem with your computer.

MM1 has been around for long and no-one reported problems with Rocky Path. Then again, Gigantine's Lair has not been reported either.

Have you tried turning off the music and sounds? (F1 in MM1, F5 in MM2)

I wrote it down in a scrap of paper. And I lost it. I don't even have it in my email anymore. Hahaha.

Maybe you have some kind of patch for it? My fund is tight right now, and I'm already allocated my budget for the upcoming Laxius Force 3.

You do not need a new key. It will reinstall over the old version and use your original key.
