Hi,
if you have played MM2, please answer to this question, did the game launch in full screen automatically when you first played it?

Don't really remember, but I don't think it did. Seems like I had to full screen it just about every time I launched it.

Yes for me.

XP is the operating system.

Can you please check now what it does and which OS have you (xp, vista or 7)?

Nope, didn't go full screen. Really no problem as it's not hard to make it full screen!
And that's on XP. Don't have it on the W7 machine yet.

can you please exit the game using the shutdown button (while in full screen), then reload it again and see?

Yep, when I used the shutdown button, then restarted, it came up in full screen.
Hope that helps.

Apparently the game records the state of the window when you exit GIVEN that you exit through the in-game commands, not ALT + F4.

Can anyone else answer my question? It's quite important (for me)!

Particularly Vista and "7" users btw

I'm on Vista and about 95% sure that it launched in full screen mode first time around.

It looks like it's gonna launch as a small window at first, but as soon as the Aldorlea name comes up it goes to full screen.

Yes, that is how it is supposed to be, and how it was for the previous games.

I have 7 but I'm not sure... I have the feeling that actually when I installed it, it first came on window screen but it could have been that I accidentally hit another window while the game was launching and I've noticed that if you do this then when you click back on the game's window it stays small!

However, since then it has for sure come up on full screen, since it keeps launching in the same mode as it previously shuts down!

Was I too confusing or did that make any sense to you Indy?

Yes indeed. You need not to interrupt the process.
