Is this a bug/glitch???

I have Grom as an Axe Wielder and when I try to upgrade him to Guru it says he needs to be a Master First.
His profiles says he is Master Axe but his skill list says he is Expert.
Screen shots below.

I checked and it is working.
Maybe your version is an old one and it was fixed since then. I recall someone spotting a few glitches regarding the skills upgrading.
But right now in the version I have (latest) both Ax-God and Garande are made normally.

The latest version is from November 26 so if you downloaded it after this date you have the newest version.

Can you keep the save data if you download a new version? And if so how do you do that? for the info about the Skills. Now that means that I have to revise my Skills list.....just when I thought it was done. That means you can ignore my post in the other thread about the problem with the axe-wielder....

I know this is an old post, but I just bought this game and downloaded it on July 20 of this year and I just got to Kremdjir Town and talk to Garande and what dee0227 posted about the getting guru axe the EXACT same thing is happening to me.
Garande says I need to be master first, Axe-god says I am master axe. My skill says axe(E) my status says master axe. I am playing on easy mode and Grom's level is 52. Does he need a higher level to get guru axe?
