I've also noticed that there are TWO different colors of grapes and one gives more SP than the other. Anyone else noticed this?

I would guess that the Honey just heals, but I could be wrong. No idea about the feather.
I unfortunately don't have a save right before JAG, so I can't test.
You can't test anyway. I tried. It won't let you hit escape in the JAG to check you previous and current stats.

Purple Grapes and +25SP and Blue Grapes are +50SP.
