This is driving me potty. I cant find the vampire or his house in London anywhere. I've managed to avoid Jack in all
places except near the New York man where I can't fix the light. Where on earth is he?

I think you need to progress further in London,

I have found two candles and used them in London. Have wandered for ever and cannot find another one or more. Any ideas as to where they are? Please.

Same here. I still have 6 bright candles left. The problem is the lamp just before the New York man and up beside the big house. It wont light. Surely I dont need more than 6 candles for that one light.

The pyramid have lots of them, look for them in the floors of the elevator of the Pharaoh Dream.

Finally got that light on the steps lit. No idea why it took so many go's, kept on trying and then all of a sudden it lit.

I am in the Pharoh's dream, but darned if I can find an elevator. Hint please and thank you.

Just after you entered on the Cairo, enter in the adventurer house and use the headphone in the guy there.
From there you go down a little, go left and keep going up.

Hope you have the White Cross.

It's one candle per lamp, that I can confirm.
You need to find the base of the lamp (it's blocking you) and press enter with your candle equipped.
