I've been wandering through all the dreams for about an hour now and I can't figure out how to move on. Do I have to give the gods gifts in order to proceed? Any hints on where to start?

I haven't found anything to give any of them. I'm literally just wandering around trying to find where I missed something. Getting a little frustrated.

You won't find a gift for the gods until late in the game.

To figure out what you should be working on, we need to know what you have done. Maybe you could say what keys are in your inventory?

Have you been to New York? Have you been to London? Have you been in the dream of the Evil Man with the poletergeist?

Ahhhh Okay. I have the key to open the doors in Cairo and the key to get to the Pharaoh. I've got the hammer of justice, the gift of fate, 3/4 parchment pieces and 1/2 of the broken thing.

Right now, I'm wandering back around Peeboo's dream to try and find what it was that Clochette needed (can't remember what it was for the life of me. Haha)

Have you met Rick the adventurer at the counter in El Cairo? Now that you have the hammer of justice, you can explore much deeper in his dream.

I don't have the cheese flower key. I definitely got lost in the cheese caves if that's where it is. I'll go explore Rick's dream a bit and see if I can figure this out.

Don't worry about the cheese flower key for now. There's no way you could have that key before finding a gift for the gods.

Okay. Made it to Crypt 6. Found the evil man. Entered his dream. And I can't continue on because there's a tile that kills me when I step on it. Where do I go now?

Back to Lostham, to the old man with the butterfly. Enter his dream. To explore there, you'll need to use items you collected in the crypts.

It'll be a while before you're ready to come back and deal with the poltergheist in the Evil Man's dream.
