When I put headphones on evil man i can only go so far and when I step on a block to go further, I die..What do i need to do to get past this point?

I have explored all the crypts and the top floor over and over and over..found White Cross but it won't let me pass..Need more than a hint..Where is Sacred Cross?

I cannot get past all the ghosts when I get to the mirrors..I have equipped Athena with the magic mirror but that does not help. I tried runniung past and almost make it but they catch me every time and I die..please help.

To go back to the original query, it is possible to bypass one of the poltergeists but, I think, a fluke. If you wait on the position just before stepping onto the stone which triggers the first poltergeist and a moving glitch happens to wander onto said stone, you attack it, fight it and beat it you can progress... but only so far until next little blighter and with no material gain. Need those crosses I'm afraid.
