You find her ribbon in the last place of the game, so don't bother for it right now.

The butterfly ribbon is for you to keep.

Equip it, if you like. Whichever character equips it gets a preemptive strike, which helps when battling very agile monsters. In battle, this character will move first, before any of the other monsters or characters.
