This game is making me feel like a total idiot! In the jailhouse, after passing the dragons successfuly, I've come to a complete stop. Can't jump even though I've equipped the shoes. Where is the pit everyone is talking about? (I have the cards). I've been through the jailhouse completely and have mapped it but have only found the jailhouse passkey. Before I give up on this game, can anyone help?
Other things I can't find is the grandmother's seal, skeleton key, and I can't get Edna to take the ribbon.

OK, I've just discovered how to jump after passing the dragons. My mouse does not work on this occasion, but the enter key does. Yeah, I'm an idiot!

You CAN jump after the dragons.
Stand in front of the chasm and press ENTER I guess. +::Dunno

You have the ribbon?
If yes, make sure you clicked on the wall that is with a flag before giving Edna the ribbon.

Be sure you have the right equipment, like the hermes shoes on. You have to change equipment
often, like from key to key or add candles or anthracite. Always check that first and foremost...
it's an easy mistake to make!! +::biggrin

Thanks, that worked. Since I am on my second game I didn't bother to click on it before as I knew I couldn't do anything there. Thanks again. +::kiss

Use the JAG card to go back to the beginning, and choose "Play JAG" instead of "Skip JAG". The gates will re-open when you win again.
