I already played the game but didn't know if you didn't use bonus you could go into an added game at the end. Is there anyway to start the game completely over without the added characters to try to play the pure nightmare. Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Just start a new game and pick Nightmare!
Your bonuses are only kept if you start a new game immediately after finishing one, so if you open the game and pick start a new game, you're fine!

First I completed the game on Ataraxia.
Secondly I started and completed the game on Pure Nightmare (Nightmare without completion bonuses)

I had a save just before I completed Ataraxia, so I used that to complete Ataraxia after having completed Pure Nightmare. (All without quitting the game)
This made me get both the Ataraxia and Nightmare completion awards when I start a new game :D
