Hello,
Just started game and have got to the cave with the chasm - cannot jump the characters into the chasm - have tried lots of times.

It's about timing, just when the characters go back from the cave when you buried the dead girl, press ''Up''
and then you'll fall, we can do nothing to help in this, you should try until you make it +::Thumbup

Hi
Penny again - haven't got to the body - in the cave with the booby trapped chest and the open ones. Have stood in front of the top left hand side chest and tried to jump. Just keep getting messages about the open chest.

You must kill the chest, move the chest in the direction of the cave. When you enter the cave you find a girl, you need to bury her with her things and when you're coming out you must press up before jumping back. Like that you fall in the chasm +::Thumbup

Thank you for help - couldn't move chest so just went back to before I found bulb.

Here's what you need to do....

1.Head to the dreaded path.
2.Finish off the evil chest.
3.Press action key on it(on the side?)
4.Then jump across the chasm!
5.Continue what ds said

I think this is KINDA what you need to do

I think burying the girl's things isn't necessary to get to the chasm. It's necessary to get Yveen's bonus.

You may also need to light the nearby lamp, so that your characters can see the area more clearly.

For some reason though, I'm thinking that you only actually need to defeat the chest enemy, and then examine the top-left chest from the bottom to jump across. The extra light shouldn't hurt though, and may even be required; it's been awhile.

For falling into the chasm on the way back; I believe that event is entirely random. The whole 'pressing up at the right moment' to fall down was only purported into truth by repeated and false repetition. Just save after burying the girl, possibly to a separate save slot to be safe, and keep exiting the small cave until the RNG (Random Number Generator) decides to have you fall down the chasm.
