No, if you haven't entered the castle yet, one of them must be. The password is what the creature is, not a specific name.

Not a chance in a hundred that I'll remember, as my notes on the game just say things like "boss fight" or "mini-boss fight". I didn't bother to specify any further than that. Perhaps if I'd bought the strategy guide . . .

Well, Dreamscape hasn't too much bosses and mini-bosses. It shouldn't be too hard to guess the right one. And don't forget the ''legendary creature'' part of the hint.

You can try to have a look in Dreamscape's forum section as I suggested - I'm pretty sure the name of this creature must be there! +::Thumbup

Also the password is the legendary name of the creature, not necessarily how Indi spelled it!

Indy has used this 'lendary' opponent at least in a couple of games now. Dreamscape for sure, but even in MM (and not telling which one) :razz:

Either that or I played Dreamscape too many times too close together to get confused +::lol

I'll just claim a 'senior moment' if it's only in Dreamscape +::lol

All the other passwords were no problem, but this one is AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
I played Dreamscape only once, didn't like it and I guess I just wiped the details out of my brain.
And searching the forum doesn't help at all as I don't even know what to look for. +::cry

Please don't feel that way. It's not my intention to drive anyone crazy with this game but obviously passwords will always be considered easier or harder depending on each of your own personal knowledge. It's true that all previous clues were unrelated to past games but since The Book of Legends is not Indinera's first game I don't find it so unfair to ask questions related to some of his other games... I also mentioned that the creature's name IS quite visible in the Dreamscape forum - just go check the discussion area and try to see which bosses were there in the game!
If you still can't guess it please don't feel so bad about it, remember others have had trouble with other clues too.

The problem (my problem!) is that I'm a perfectionist and I want to get them all!
Btw - I do like that game a lot!
