Yeah, the dev diary has some great screen shots, and is really interesting to read. It's good to have some info about how a game is produced.

a little speculation on the 1st gamezebo pic:

maybe this is a training trip with the Bear ...maybe the party acquires a bunch of skills in this place +::wizard

..so i guess that either the Bear says : lets go visit my wise friend in his village, he has a piece of wisdom to share with us..or the party arrives there on a mission..

the statues look like nomad girls with water vessels..is water related to the place?( god i want to go inside this stone curved door +::clap

)the place is like an oasis, but on high mountain instead of desert..the 3 identical statues mean that there will be many more of them and they probably symbolize something connected to the area..(they might as well be just decoration hahahahah!!)

Just saw the Gamezebo article; REALLY interesting and the screenshots were (duh) gorgeous!

The lights and floor pattern on the second screenshot remind me of the ancient temples; is that the entrance to a new one?

Took me a minute, D-Squall, before I realized you're absolutely right. 1) Yes, they split during MM4, but only one party was playable. 2) Yes, other Aldorlea games have split, but never MM.

It's not my fault. I just got back from a Boy Scout camping trip. I'm delirious from lack of... +::Zzzz

hmm...D-Squal says the mountain place is a shrine and i say it is a village..which one is right Indy?and if the 2nd screen isn't the entrance of a new temple, could it be an old one? like revisiting?

I just saw the new stuff on gamezebo and I have to admit it in two words:

Gorgeous and Mysterious.

Indy's really pulling out all the stops for the finale, even if it does take a little bit more time. It really makes you curious about where those maps are located and what their purpose is for. It may be that Marine and friends will learn some new tricks here to help them win the tournament.

On another note, can we see a shot of Merline and the other non-tournament people doing their own thing? I read somewhere that they'll have their own mission to do, and perhaps a screenshot could help.

Ah, it's not a "new" one, (a very precise form of words) so is it the entrance to one we've been to before?

That would be weird huh? 'Cause other temples didn't have entrances like that. Maybe it's related to some ancient civilization of Myst because of those paterns. But not an Ancient Temple.
