I cant find any switch to open doors, plz help me. Thanks.

I am stuck at the same place. Walking around aimlessly not getting nowhere. I am tired of running into random battles. Where exactly is this switch to open the door to get out. I seen the square pools of water/slush in the center section of the dungeon but no switch. Is the switch in the same area as the party comments on someone studying down here or what. Please where is it.
