Quest 37 and 43

Another possibility for Quest 37, is the one given in the Guild of Xen.
The guy wants Mithril and Bromium.
I have found a few Mithril, but never Bromium.

When I returned to him with Mithril, he tells me "Bromium is found in certain spider caves" ???

Sounds like a quest to me!

I'm wondering if Quest 37 may have been given by Batabog, before he joins the party; another "invisible" quest. I just discovered the Pirates Headquarters in the 2'nd port of Rilla, and it seems a fairly large area with a Big Boss.

Does anybody know???

I spoke to Batabog before entering the Pirates Headquarters, as well as when I exited, giving him the axe so he joined my party. None of these actions triggered a quest.

The guard outside hints of strange events in the building, even speaking to him, before entering and after exiting doesn't trigger a quest.

Not caves - he just says some spiders produce bromium naturally, so I don't think there's any cave hunt.

I returned the Mithril and Bromium, received a ring called Basla-Mamoth. Didn't trigger Quest 37.

Nope. It was found in the crypt with baretta using sparks fighting stratagy. If you missed it then I don't think can get it any where else.

I'm playing through for the second time and am in the crypt now. You get bromium from the Underground Lycose using Spark's talent in Observent mode. I am playing in hard mode and stayed in Mount Zulle until I made enough money to buy Sarah the Elven Grand Bow from the merchant in town so Sparks had the spell before I made it to the swamp. They are little red spiders. I don't know if you get it anywhere else or not. I am walking around in the crypt trying to raise Baretta level before I fight the demon. So far I have 3 Bromium.

I don't think you can find it anywhere else that is the only place i found it and I have used spark everywhere.

I found another bromium! I went back to a a save point prior to doing Baretta's crypt and found it there with Spark - but then later I was fighting things on the sunny island to get some extra money for things in SankT Leone and I found another one. (Went back to Xen with a spare set of bromium/mithril to see if I could get something else, but no luck.)

Silly thing was that neither was found with a spider - the crypt one was with one of the red scorpions, and the island one was with two snakes.
