help killing alessia and trees q78

Hi I am at the point where alessia tries to kill sara in the walkthrough it says dont kill alessia just the trees but I find each time she dies and I cannot kill the trees no matter what I do, and after 10 attempts it gets frustrating
sara is lv 37 is that high enough or not

Well,it's not necessary to kill alessia,i think.You just have to wait 3-4 rounds(or more(if I remember corrcetly.Then Random and Wendala bust in to save Sarah.Hang in there for a few rounds,concentrating on the trees first.Finish off the trees ASAP.You'll save some HP.

Thanks I know that the others joint the party, but when I kill alessia I cannot kill the trees to finish the fight, this is the problem I am having.

Oh!!Then try inflicting ground lock spell(Oni or Pituite calling?Oni,I think)Has Random joined your party?If so,Focus all of your attacks on one enemy+ metallist curse and spells which boost atk and defence.I'm sorry I cant help further coz i dont remember Wendala's spells right now.

Thanks I will try them and hopefully I can get past this bit, its anoying as I cannot get further in the game if I cannot get this done

Well I got a little bit further but still cant kill all of them

will keep going maybe I need to get a little more levels before I try??

That fight is very difficult, even at level 37. I happen to be playing chapter 3 too and I just beat them last night but it was really rough and I was actually right about your level give or take 1. I would suggest coming back near the end of chapter 3 when you have more levels/equipment.

Those trees are like the ones in the halls of reflection, not quite as hard but they are tough and there's 4 of them.

The way I beat them, round one I gates of thunder which doesn't hurt the trees much but it wipes out alessia and does some damage to everyone, had sarah enhance random's attack, and cocka started slashing a tree, and wendala put stone barrier on everyone (if you did the weather quest in chapter 2). Then random and cocka kept focus slashing them slowly (they are resistant to everything I think) while sarah and wendy kept using Healing Reagents (65% hp restore) to heal everyone because normal healing spells are too weak.

They might have a weakness to something but I didn't experiment, I just brute forced it.

Edit: also it just occurred to me you could probably help yourself out by using the temporary booster items on random/wendy/cocka before you enter the temple (if you're already in you can exit so they're back in the party). Use random's Hero spell (inflicts legend slayer, huge boost) and all those other temp boosters you have found/bought on your journey like hero creams, dajir herbs, etc.

i think they can be numbed as i remember,but it´s hard to do.so inflict weapon boost on random and try to numb them one by one and let the others attack and metallis curse think also a good way and fury with weaponboost on random also hero is to try,as i remember.this guys are tough,yes indeed.

I believe they were weak to fire, as you might suspect of a tree. If you have any 'fire powders', try using a couple to see if they work well. I don't know offhand if anyone in chapter 3 sells them, but they were available in chapter 2 at least, plus any you might have found while exploring. It's a Fire element, Pw: 220, Attack All item, and I would think all that together should put a wallop or two on the trees.

Well I have tried all of the above suggestions and still cannot get past the trees!!
I have managed to kill one but then I am killed before I can do anything else.

I just dont want to leave this game as another unfinished one, just because I cannot get past a certain bit.

Level up more.

I use the milipufs in the indinera glade (takes food to travel there, westernmost section of mt zulle town). I put the heavy blade on random (bought from chapter 1), even though has weak attack points it kills milipufs in one hit. Just keep resetting the milipufs and it's fairly quick. Come back at level 50 and it'll be easy.
