Yeah, but it's the good kind of 'tricky'. He makes you think, and he will reward you for it.
Like in the pyramid, how the message you got for an empty chest was rather tentative. That was Indy was straight out telling you to check every chest in the area twice, and sure enough there was a second Daj’mel saber in one of them. The same with the art frog quest in chapter 2, where you wonder to yourself "What would happen if I waited till Wendala is in the party to complete this quest? Sure enough, the artist makes a statue of Wendala too!
The LF games have a certain depth to them that have exceeded that of any other series I have played.
