@Firefly - Not sure I could post cakes abroad, customs would probably seize them
@ Alikamou - You probably find it's the gluten in the flour that causes the problem for your mum
Here in the uk you can buy gluten free flour called "Doves Farm"
When using it you might find the cake is a little more crumbly but I made a fantasic chocolate fudge cake for a friend who has coeliac disease so can't eat anything with gluten - as you can guess I'm her favourite friend as she loves the scones I make for her too
As for finger colours mine currently are a muddy green
