Hi everyone I created this topic to put some of my poems that I've written in here , I'm very new to poetry I don't usually tend to write very emotionally but I figured I would give it a try.

" Dare To Dance" By michellepeyton
When I dance my emotions shine through oh so bright,
comming down on me like heaven's light, with each step
a story is told through rhythm and movement the story unfolds,
surely I would be amiss if this thing called dance did not exist ,
because life with is pure bliss something that I will always cherish

Well that's it for now I'll post more when I can think of new ones, I hopes everyones enjoys this poem.

Yeah I do love dancing it's so much fun , this will have only been my fifth lesson and before then I had never danced before not even just for fun but I'm so happy I finally decided to take lessons.

It's an inspiring poem, Michellepeyton. I remember that feeling when I danced in school! It's hard to put into words, but you've captured it in your poem. It's awesome that you've continued with your dance lessons! I must admit, every once in a while, I just put on my favorite song and dance by myself! LOL! Thanks so much for sharing with us!

"Dance is poetry in motion something of which
that takes time and devotion through dance I do not,
seek perfection but a mere reflection of one's true self,
personified through dance with which words cannot express ,
through pracice and dedication with which I will progress."
Hi everyone here's my newest poem I 'm not so sure I'm entirely sastisfied with it though so might be editing or adding onto it, I was going to add another line to but I thought it sounded to Elizabethan and thought it would not with the poem I guess I'll try and add it to next poem I write which will probably take quite a while to finish.Anyways I hope everyone enjoys this poem any feedback and critiscisms are welcome.
