This is really pathetic, I can't find my way back to the Ice Crawler - I need to find the Crystal of Terryx and am wandering around the snowy lands and can't finmd the paths.

Have you looked at the map in the walkthrough?? That would probably get you back to the crawler pretty quickly! But I will try to explain..

go all the way left, and then head up. Continue past the statue.
Head up and go into the cave....there you will find the warehouse with the Ice Crawler!!

Does the Ice Crawler go back to ihe Institute Warehouse after you've found it and driven it through the snow?

Yeah, evertime you need to use the Ice Crawler again you have to down the warehouse again.
But no worries... there are only some annoying scorpions in the way +::lol
