Let's talk about the story

I would rather the story slowly unfold as the games are released and since this is a game with different chapters I like to be left asking myself questions on what will happen next. To me this builds the anticipation and excitement and adds to the overall fun factor in enjoying a developing storyline and maturing of characters in the game.

I like that parts of it are political. I want to know what Dragon and Borgan are going to do to keep their political pull. Some of my favorite RPG stories were more political, like Tactics Ogre.

My favorite part of the story was

when Marine was jumping around the trees all giggly while Benoit and Karine were groaning. I liked that for a tiny moment, Marine could relax and just be a young carefree girl

. It was a little bit like the laughing scene in Final Fantasy X where in the whole awkward stupidness, Yuna could stop being the world savior summoner for a second and just be a normal giggling teenage girl.

As I mentioned in my first Oracle prediction (under Royality of Myst), I think we have not seen the last
of Bokden. He's a rogue and an adventurer. I realized the extent when I encountered him again while replaying 3S this week. He's gotten around, met many, and learned much. A spirit like his might be just
what is needed after some grueling time spent at the monastery humbling himself!! He's a comic relief, too. Hey bring him back Indy, I like the rogue!

I felt very surprised about Marine decision, I mean, It's a peasant against the empire, and the way she had the Idea by seeing the squirrels, it was really surprising
