There's a lance on the ground that "only the owner of an amazing spirituality" can pick up. What does this mean? Do I need to boost some stat or is there an item I need first?

You talk about the area before Kondler right? I don't know what you could do. But try getting Luci's Mind stat real high. And beat the evil god behind the window to the right so the girl will give you int. seminary that will double your mind.

I also tried the above mentioned to get that Lance and no success I tried almost anything to get it. I am now going back to find the airport. Maybe I need to visit the Mage guild again. +::Dunno

The trick was to get the girl to give you an int seminary. Kill the monster in the house (its not hard at all, couple of sun boomers from sarah puts it down)

After that, u can use the "sacred letter of yveen" as an accessory to Luciana, and then get her mind stat high as possible with the rest of her equipment. I had around ~4500 (or more) mind stat when i suceeded in getting the lance out. (You might be able to get it with less than that, but i remember i had around 3700 and i still couldnt get it)

You should have the Brain Dazzler by then. Equip that and the Orb of the Depths on Luciana, and her "normal" (unboosted) MN is 3500+. Cast Half-Goddess Aura on her, use a Tij Herb, and you can get MN to ~7000 without taking the seminary.

BTW, the lance is just an ordinary weapon (not better than the Glass Rod of Crys), not a relic, so no big loss if you miss it.
