The Mage guild now offers boosts called Filling the Gap - it adds MN/100 to ST (and RS).

So I had Luciana in my party with 2400 MN through equipment. I bought a Brain Dazzler from the guy in the guild - MN is now 4800. I ate a Tij Herb, cast Goddess Spirit and took an INT Seminary - for a MN of 16000+.
Now I got a boost of 160 ST and RS!!

Scary!

Changed the title since Fighter's guild also offers crazy boosts!

If you have killed more than 2000 monsters - you get +3LV!!
Sarah went from 96 -> 99 (yay!), Random and Luci 99 -> 99

PS: Xander got +3LV in the Mage Guild boost
PPS: Tara got +110 ST/RS even though she had only 5500 MN in the Mage Guild

Xander gets another +3LV from the vampire in Fanta counter (go just before Mt Zulle).

I like all the crazy stats boosting, kinda reminds me of the Disgaea series, though not quite so crazy.

I'm waiting with such boosts as long as possible, because I always a special item which greatly boosts one particular stat

In LF 2, I was wondering if 9999 was the highest value of all stats or not, I tried inflicting various stats on Brussian and finally got this.

Then I accepted the boosts in the Fighters Guild which require high strength and resistance, but the result didn't seem much better than a result of a character with the same resistance and strength about 3000, so I postponed those boosts until there are enough ultimate items and relics to boost both strength, and resistance to such crazy values.

Now I wonder if 99999 is the highest value or not.

Hmmn, I haven't played far enough in the game to see the item you are talking about.
I did use the Brain Dazzler, it doubles the character's MN.

It's not crazy, but the fire elemental on the left at djarma's gives tara a lil' boost if you have her in your party.

Thanks. I notice that Tara gets a lot of free boosts, from various items, flames and friendly fellow elementals. Indy clearly likes her a lot ...

back from kondler, my Nash at LVL 70, i give him concentration spell...after won the tournament, then i go to secret lab, to get +1 LVL...
and now, my nash at LVL 82...crazy boosts +::YAY

I don't know it's a bug or not..

Wow - this is a good bug, if indeed it is a bug.

CHR1ST, what exactly did you go with Nash - did you solve some quest in the Secret Guild, if so which one?
