haha, yeah, CC is super strong....

I'm currently working on my third replay of Laxius Force 1, still on the pyramid, I have them at lvl 56... I will see how long I can keep up the boring leveling haha... i hope I can reach 99, but I might give up at 80 something instead, we'll see.

I also wanna try to get Random, Sarah, and Cocka-Cocka very very high at the end of chapter 1..... like.. also 70's or 80's hahahaha....

anyone have any good tips for leveling in chapter 1? xD I will be playing according to the walkthrough and checking to see if I can make extra discoveries

In Chapter 1, the flowers DO NOT give Cocka-Cocka random exp, but level specific exp. The vegetables in the yard below Random's house give level specific (small amounts) of exp unlike the walkthrough says. Also the flowers in the Waryellis Garden (whatever the name was) increases Cocka's level by 1 each...so if CC is level 8, one flower will bring him to level 9, the second will bring him to level 10 and so on...
My advise is not to eat any of the flowers in Waryellis Garden until at least CC is level 20 because levelling gets harder at higher levels. But again I am not the kind of guy that spends weeks on one chapter to level up so if you are planning to spend a lot of time on each chapters, I suggest to wait and level CC as much as you can before consuming the flowers.

you do find him in lf1 after all

Sorry Indy but that is a big gap or maybe an error with the characters in LF III without importing savefiles +::cry +::fear +::cry
It would have been nice to had made a compromise with Cocka Cocka the expense of the other weakly and useless characters +::cry +::cry +::cry
(by Alexandra and Marilysis would say) +::Dunno +:::|

To make money in chapter 1 (fastest method when no treasures are left):
Kill the soldier in Pazaara over and over to get Siir rapier and sell them to the old lady in Khomre.

To train at later levels in chapter 1:
I'm afraid you're stuck to Holocaust wraiths. Once Cocka-Cocka gets his strong beak, they are relatively easy to kill... and Vanina makes a good sacrifice if the monster spends a turn attacking.

Are you running Windows XP? Or 7? If it's XP (which I use), look in C:\Documents and Settings\*Name of your Computer*\Application Data. App Data is usually a hidden folder so make sure they are visible (in tools I think). In there you will find a Laxius Force (or II or III) saves file. Just copy and paste it in the correct folder. Voila! :)

Some notes:

- Cocka gets 59 XP per lettuce on vegetable garden at lvl 28 or so

- Cocka gets 2200 XP on each flower at Wonder Marsh map - not enough to get a new level every flower at lvl 28, but enough to get me two levels overall

- Best way to level up and get money is the Siir Rapier guy (as Tyrellias says). Later on it is STILL the best way - equip seed pendant and the two (the Siir guy and the kobold) give you ~250 XP/12 gold for 2 fights. Also, every ~3 fights you get a Siir Rapier worth 22 gold in Valaaus.

For comparison, the Mist Wraith gets ~110-140 XP with seed pendant. But, he drops Necrotears, so worth farming to get some

Can't fight Holocaust Wraiths yet - I'm only at levels 35/36/39 for Random/Sarah/Cocka.

Just discovered something in LF1:
You can bring the Seed pendant in Faalopa... which is the best place to train in Ch.1 before you can kill the Holocaust Wraiths.

Sadly, Marilyis can't benefit from it.
