For a second speaker, your English is pretty good.

For me, I can speak English because I was taught it at school (as the medium of instruction, no less!). Also, textbooks and technical books (and Science Fiction - Fantasy novels!) are usually in English ...

Given that we have 15 national languages and many more dialects, English has sort of become a common language, esp. in the cities and urban areas.

BUT, we're drifting far far away from the topic here :)

I'm south american, btw, so maybe that's why it's no good for me. in fact I'm sure that's why. but if I never antagonized people I would have no fun, ever :P

Belgium - the land of chocolates, Tintin and fries! Wow - amazing accomplishments for a tiny country.

Not sure what the South American connection is to France - isn't it more of Portuguese / Spanish history? Clearly, I'm bad at world history...

Indy, these numbers resolve to...

Bangalore, India!

:)

OK, thanks! ^^

Haha I grew up with english so it's mostly second nature to me, plus I'm married to a texan. Thanks though!

The quest with Luci in Metrolia with the Ivory Key and opening the chest is still broken.

I don't know what to say. I downloaded and installed what I thought was the latest version. I think I even told Indy the link was broken for me and then when I went back it worked fine.

OK. I redownloaded from both links. Mediafire and zikman.free.fr and the number of bytes is the same for both files. I don't know if I have to before the event changes for the log to show the correct number or not. Just a test to make sure I had copies the correct file.

OK. Some more on the slave organization quests. I reloaded to see if I could figure it out.

The original quest for the Mage Guild shows up in my Quest Log as Q165.

After the quest for the slave organization was done, I went to the mage guild and talked to the guy at the desk. He said he had no idea where Sacjidl was located. I then reloaded and went to the fighters guild.

When you finish the Quest with Demetrio which is Q126 at the fighters guild, he pays you and Q126 is complete and he calls it the Sacjidl quest. Unfortunatally, Q165 also goes to quest complete and becomes Q108 after you talk to Floyd at the fighter's guild.

Weird huh.

Just finished the part where Wendala was abducted and reloaded to pay attention to what people said. I noticed that the letter Random finds in the HQ says it is from the "House of Torture" and when Random goes there and talks to the head guy, he says "you had requested her to Sacjdil, which is not the same, but we were faster to abduct her". So maybe this is why the Sacjdil quest does not clear thru the Mage Guild, because it is not Sacjdil. Maybe Sacjdil is another quest entirely.
Just a thought.

Looked at the completed quests after I rescued Wendala and quest 262 is called where: Sacjdil Prisons - what: Killed Leader, quest 261 is called where: Sacjdil Prisons - what: Escaped Jail, and quest 259 is called where: House of Torture - what: Wendala Rescued. Quests 262 and 261 were completed after I brought and finished with Demetrio.

The 4 elements quest appears to be broken as I have the book but the quest giver is still telling me to go to the location to retrieve it. I did however trigger the quest after I found the book which may explain the bug.....
Oh well, one broken side-quest isn't gonna spoil the fun. Nice to see a return back to mature content, Indie.
The sexual suggestive-ness, the blood and the horror themes..... :)
I especially loved the family that eats the heads of zombies and Wendala's slave sidequest to free the girls....
