too many items--script is hanging

I know I'm not the only one this is happening to. I'd gladly sell some items, except that every time I try to open them up the game crashes. I've tried that patch, and it's not working. Is there a way to weed out unnecessary items without crashing the game? (I have no other programs running; I've got plenty of memory, or so I thought...)

Try wasting some items during fights maybe... or find a merchant offering money for a specific item (ex: Anaconda Skin)

Viewing them does become a bit slower so don't apply it if your computer is fast enough ^^

But be warned, after you apply the patch, the game only recognizes 99 save slots.

I never had the scripting situation myself however it was "slightly" slower when accessing items but not a big deal. I had way too many things anyways and some items I felt I would not use or need. I made sure to keep at least one of each of a unique item and one or maybe two of each item from "particular" shops.

One example is I had 99 zeon claws. I felt I did not need them so I sold them.

On most of the computers it's not a problem, but I played LF3 on netbook with Intel Atom, and without the script it was just unplayable - I couldn't use inventory, sell or buy anything - always "Acript is hanging" error.
