Locked Chest at Traveller's Acolyte

According to the Official Guide:

"The Traveller’s Acolyte is the place to go for a good night’s rest or a bit of shopping. The Inn costs 50G and the shopkeeper doesn’t sell much. If you’re importing you’ll want to stock up a bit on Potions and Phials and go to the top floor to collect another Potion from the wardrobe as well as return and open the chest there once you’ve found a Key to open locked chests."

I cannot open the locked chest on the top floor. When I click on it nothing happens... it doesn't even tell me that the chest is locked. I have the Miracle Key equipped on Marine and have used it to open other locked chests. Is this a bug?

I meant "Magical Key". I just verified that I had it equipped and went back again and was still unable to do anything with the chest. Could I have opened it in Millennium 2?

If you opened it in MM2, it should be open. Are you sure you have the Magical Key equipped??? That's all advice I can give.

I'm thinking that it's probably already open but I can't see it very clearly as it's close to a wall and partially blocked. Was there something spectacular in there???

Some kind of ring. It varied. I got a Void Ring. There were several types, some good, some not so good. It just depends on your game, I think.

when i imported file i noticed i didn't have magical key.....is there a way i can get it in mm3 or do i have to play mm2 til i get it ?

If you imported with the key, you should have the key in MM3. I hadn't any problem like this.
In MM3 you can buy one in Old Many House.
