help with Wendie and a thank you to indy

Im having a large/small (large for me small for you ) problem and was wondering if i could get some help. sadly, while i absolutely love this game, thank you indy!, i cannot seem to get where i need to be without the walkthru bc its way more detailed than anything ive played before. So, i am stuck at the house of torture quest. the below is where im at.

If you have the Sacjdil House of Torture quest from LFII equip Random to increase his persuasion points and taking just Wendala go to meet Demetrio (top left house on Main Avenue). Demetrio offers 2000g for Random. With persuasion this can go higher. I got 3300g.

i go in, i talk to demetrio, he says he can pay me 3k, 2 up front and 1 later and dont bother him he'll come see me. when i talk to him again, he says, i asked you to leave. hello! dont wanna go, want you to take wendie so i can go on with the game. any pointers? ive read all 24 pages, ok i skimmed, but still all 24 pages of posts and cant find anything. i dont think i missed anything but if i did, i apologize but if someone could help i would be very grateful.

oh, and indy, in case you missed it, THANK YOU! i love the lf and millenium series. some of my absolute faves to date.

You don't continue the quest by talking to Demetrio again, instead he will contact you later in the game. I don't quite remember when it happens, though, maybe there's something about it in the walkthrough.

I think you may have missed something earlier on. Demetrio should have contacted you in Chapter 10 (have a look at paragraph 67 in that walkthrough) if you had initiated the quest. If you initiated the quest later than that you may have to do something else to move it on. Perhaps follow what's in the Chapter 10 walkthrough???

thank you thomas and littlebro. well i had done everything, im following your walkthru littlebro so i decide that im just gonna skip and go to metrolia for now and level up angelina and petula and get some zeon claws. when i go to the next screen to go to walz i get smacked and get a letter. silly me just shoulda gone on to begin with i guess. thanks for the help.
