There is a new update to Fated Haven: Chapter One.

This update adds a new feature, allowing you to enable auto-dash. Auto-dash allows you to move around, and automatically run. This saves time from holding the shift key, if you do not want to.

Another update is that skills have had a MAJOR update. Spirit is no longer in the game. Skills are now based off your attack, instead of spirit, making skills MUCH, MUCH stronger than before.
If you felt that skills were too weak before, this update is for you.

This update does NOT fix any bugs, it just adds improvement to the game.

Please email me at support [at] fatedproductions [.] com with your order number to receive the update.

That sounds good. It's true that with your system it was always a bit hard to pick "spirit" over "attack" since you are bound to attack more lol

hEY!! the demo was great!! +::clap +::clap I throughly enjoyed playing the demo, the musics were good, even the graphics was nice. And I liked the way where the players can increase or decrease health, defense power etc after each level up! The story was promising (though I didn't complete it yet :D ). The expressions on the character's faces were cool, and another thing which I must mention that the enemies' health was increasing as my characters were leveling up, that makes the game more challenging +::Thumbup keep up the good job, I'm gonna try the full version!! +::YAY +::YAY +::YAY

+::biggrin Starting from the beginning with upgrade and....soooooo much easier to decide what to boost now +::Thumbup +::biggrin (it sure helps when you get a chance to play it through at least once to decide on another strategy) +::whistle +::biggrin And still enjoying it. Besides...I'm still going off the beaten track to get something earlier to, hopefully, get the group levelled more evenly +::biggrin

Let me know how you like the changes :D
It is much easier to not have to focus on as many stats. But you should be noticing skills working a lot better than they did before. To the point, that you will probably be casting skills more than regular attacks :D

Wooo! Keep enjoying the game Alikamou! +::Dance
Big Fish Games offered me a distribution contract for the game, so hopefully it'll be up there too within the month! Thank you so much everybody for the support from this game, it's highly appreciated!

I was thinking of the possibility of adding another free dungeon to explore on the side in the game. Have it as a free DLC. It would be applied just like any other patch. If you're interested, let me know ^^

How far are you into the game? You do not need to worry about the Ice Cave until late in the game. :)

Actually I restarted at a couple of previous saves because I thought maybe I missed a step.....I have been as far as the waterfall with the jewel but I was under the impression that was too late to go back because I couldn't get back into the towns. At what point can I go back there and with what item?

Thanks so much for your prompt reply and help!! Love this game!

Had also received the wine bottle; if that helps.

Hi there,

You get to head back to the towns again shortly after you complete the Temple of the Sky :) From there, you'll be able to enter the Ice Cave. You don't need to worry about doing anything with the wine until after the Ice Cave. So glad you're enjoying the game so far! :)

Is the temple of the sky where the vampire is? If it is not, I haven't found it yet. I had gone through the town of Rivermore and then went up to the mountains where the vampire is, but after that I can't get back through the towns to get to the ice cave.

Or is it the place in Hidden Forest where you can't get in because of an invisible force. I am really stuck with this one!

From the Ruins,

Head south one screen, then east one screen, and approach the waterfall and see what happens :)
If you ever get lost, open your menu and choose objective, and that feature will guide you were you need to go :)
