I am in the process of playing through LFII for the 4th time (and there's a long and sorrowful tale behind that statement, which we needn't go into) and I think I've sorted out all the little wheezes and helps, except one. I've definitely read in a post that the 666 blade can be augmented in much the same way as the legendary sword (up to AT 851 if I remember correctly) - but at what point does this start to happen? I've done over 2000 kills with it and it's not shifted even by one AT point. Does anyone have an idea of how much more tedious slogging away is required before I see some reward for my labour? Thanks

I'm guessing it's b/c that blade is not supposed to be for Random, but for Wendala. I tried it on Random, and it got to about 500+ attack, but with Wendala, it's now 717....

Thanks very much. Next play-through it'll be Wendala. I continued to use it with Random and even after about 8,000 kills I was nowhere near the possible AT

Sorry for asking again, but what is the certain condition to make the AT 's 666 blade increase? I put this sword on Wendala and after doing a lots battle still not increase even one point..
I have Wendala level 99, is that the problem? Please someone can explain, thanks..

How many WEAPON kills do you have with Wendala?

It's possible that you need to get the kills for 666 blade with Random, but I'm not sure about this.

@loof123: Wendala have weapon kills about 2k, but since I equipt her with 666 blade I don't sure how many weapon kills she have..

If you have money to spare....

Go to the tournament with Random or any other character you want to wear the blade, and just unequipped them and let them die so that their deaths count increase but you don't get a start over with yveen

I think each death gives ~20+ atk points, I dunno for sure though.

I got wendala to die 49 times and that gave her 741 attack power (more than random with the legendary sword!).
