quest 126 dismatle the slave guide

i forgot to add the slave quest in, in the beginning of chapt 4 but after the trial of heros i added it in and its in my quest guide but when i go to demetrio with only wendala and random, he only stares and doesnt do anything, what do i do? also the beauty pageant isnt showing in my quest guide.

For the slave quest, I recall it had a bug that caused it to appear in your quest log before you actually receive it. Go to the Fighters Guild and ask about the quest again just to make sure the quest is triggered properly. Then, as you said, remove party members so it's only Random and Wendala in your active party before talking to Demetrio. If that still doesn’t work, hold off and try again in LF2. Any outstanding issues/bugs with the quest seem to resolve themselves in LF2.

For the beauty pageant, I always signed up immediately, so I don't know how much I can help troubleshoot this one. All I can suggest is to talk to the lady, just barely to the right (east) of your headquarters and see if you can still sign up. If she won't let you sign up, then you might have missed your opportunity. Although the quest log in LF1 was fairly buggy overall, so it's possible you did sign up and it just doesn’t show in your log.
