Yes, I had a discussion with someone from Canada who had the same issue
Strangely we fixed it by changing the language from US english to Canada English
Weird but it worked right away, must be something with Microsoft Oo

Could you just try another keyboard language for the game ?

Hi all

I've finished the main quest, but just want to tidy up a few loose ends before finishing the game. Can someone please answer me the following questions?

1. Is there a use for the hourglass in Chapter 1? Perhaps I did get a quest but I've forgotten it along the way?
2. Is there a use for the Rune of Ing in Chapter 1? Perhaps swap it somewhere for the Rune of Eolh and give it to the rune collector?
3. I have a question mark next to the fountain in Alcim - is there an outstanding quest or is this one for Chapter 2?
4. There is also a question mark next to Theo's house - but this may be because there are more things for him to mend in Chapter 2?
5. I still have a fish in my inventory even though I know I've finished this quest - though this may be a minor glitch!

1]found the children..talked to bertnum said plays music in hidden cave...where is the cave..or is where is the map for wessar
2] can't defeat the ing person in basement..not sure wat to do
3] can't get to igloo..can see one pad cannot see its mate +

I don't exactly remember - is this the boss that turns into a tree? If so, when he spawns those white egg things try pushing them right in front of him and then moving out of the way so that they damage him when they explode. It took me a while to figure this one out.

Igloo

You can't enter the igloo until towards the end of the game, just before you face the final boss.

Yes, it's a side quest that starts in chapter 1 and finishes in chapter 2
Wessar Empty house -> Hourglass
Alcim -> Back to Hramm Cold Hand -> Swap to get the Clock
In Kian (Chapter 2) you get the Cristal Ball

You did good the remaining side quest is in chapter 2

Nop it's mainly to spot the fountain

Well, I am not sure I understand, when you manage to reproduce the moon phases, the door to stairs opens and you go up

..omg.. did the moon phases but door to stairs did not open..the door to where the teleport is opens
message on wall says "To reach next floor you must use what's in the watchtower"
the teleport then takes you to the watchtower ???

Hello again

Did you already get what was in the chest at the top of the watchtower? If so, then you don't need to go back to the watchtower again, so if you teleported there, just go back to the north tower. The thing you found at the top of the watchtower (or possibly something you swapped it for) is then used to open the door to the stairs.

yes unfortunately I swapped every instrument..ended up with Harp..can't get it to work in either the tower or the igloo
tried every spot in tower..looks like I might have to restart game...

I totally sympathise - I did exactly the same thing first time round and didn't have another save to go to

At least you'll get through the game quicker this time because you'll know what to do!
