Stuck in the Cat Place

I got to the Outer World and got to the place where there is a bunch of cats and rats, but I don't know how to continue and go to the next place. Can someone help me please?

I assume you haven't been to the south of the halls yet. Explore. Do quests for the cats. There is still a lot ahead of you. Talk to everyone and visit every possible place. Go south-east to experimental complex. Go fight monsters in the southern areas.
Remeber to check every area. Eventually you will trigger an event which will push the story forward and you, if you explore everything properly, have a chance to gain some really serious cash in this part of the game.

Sorry I can't be more specific but i can;t remember what i did in what order. The most important thing is to talk to everyone and visit some places more than once as, for instance, if a rom is empty during your first visit, there might be someone there later on. Hpe this helps a little.

I can't get down to the Doctor place or the other room. Is there a secret door i have to go through or something?
