I am guessing The Demon of Tricks is behind the locked gate, but "Even the Theif's Acolyte cant do anthing about it". So....what does open it? Also...how do you get to the chests in the blue area that looks like water?

You get the key from the demon.

To get to the blue water area,

Go along the path to the left of it, and click on the right hand side wall near the bottom and you will find a secret path through to it.

The demon of tricks is NOT behind that gate! It's a bit tricky to find him.

In the northern part of the house, check the bottom walls. You'll see a spot that's darker than the rest. There you can walk down a staircase.

Hmmmm....found the hidden staircase ages ago....used potion and found Demon to be here.....somewhere. Have gone round and round and find no other clues as to his whereabouts. Gave up for awhile...went and finished other side quests and dont know where to go next.....

Go back to the little room where the flame was and check it thoroughly.
