How do you get Gus to move?

In Izuka Gus is guarding a bridge, is there any way to get him to move?

return there when the kitty cat hotel majestically manages to produce a crisis in izuka... one where the castle may be in danger (but its only a small window of oppurtunity, once the castle is secure he will be back.)


there, anyone who has played the game and beaten that point will go "ah, i see what he did there." where as anyone else will be going "kitty cat hotel? where the hell is that?" and nothing will be spoiled for them... arent i smart?
