You are right about the fire guild. Ther is an ocean goas in the Rainbow Castle that you have to beat. So if you went there after you went to the Ultai pyramid where random got the new armor, you would have the Laxius magic. You didn't hallucinate that. There is, as I recall, another ocean goas to fight. That might be the one someone is refering to. Two of those bad boys to fight

The GC is an overpowered enemy, isn't he??

Nah. He's easy. Try beating Krandar with a weak party (just to get more quest completes for the Secret Guild bonus) and have to reload multiple times to get the jaws drop. That's not easy .

The overpowered enemies, at least for me were Hondler last fight and Cosmepolis Guard (with Shrinkage on everyone, this was really tough).

Who is Krandar. I'm in Metrolia ruins, chapter 12. Did I miss him?

Krandar is a quest from Mage Guild IIRC. I don't recall when exactly can you get the quest tho...

And I dunno if I'm super-lucky or anything, but I got the Jaws on my first try...
