Goodie #3: Humans+

This Goodie is meant to be used in Aldorlea's latest game The Book of Legends.

How to use this Goodie:

1. Download this savefile (select "Save Link As..."):

http://aldorlea.org/Goodies/Save14.rxdata

Attention! If you install this Goodie, you will lose your current savefile located in the 14th slot. Make sure to save it in another slot if this specific savefile matters to you.

2. Copy/paste the downloaded savefile to the following location:
-Vista/Seven user:
C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\TheBookofLegends_Saves
-XP user:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your name]\Application Data\TheBookofLegends_Saves

Help for Vista/Seven:
Once you are in C:\Users, make sure to find the folder matching [your name].
Turn this folder and the sub-content VISIBLE. If you do not, you won't be able to see "AppData".
Once you've found "AppData" the rest should be easy to do.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by Vista's inane structure.

What this Goodie contains:

It allows you to start the game with all the human characters INCLUDING THE SECRET ONES. You start with Jordan alone but you can compose your party the way you want using the "Party" option in the Main Menu.
Please note that you may want to balance your team early on in order not to face too hard battles, especially in RPG mode. Keeping Jordan in the party will do the trick in most cases. The game is identical to the original one except you can put those characters before they would normally join. Other characters (animals) that you could normally recruit won't show up in the party reserve even if you find them through the normal course of the game. The idea of this goodie is to play and finish the game with just the non-human characters - for a new gameplay experience!
It's also pretty cool to have so many characters from the start.

well, i finished the animals' and human+ goodies!it was certainly a whole new idea of gameplay! i had to focus on strategy and ballance the party!i levelled a lot with all the animals(i had no specific party)..but with the humans my favourites were Jasmine-Melusine-Teksab and Barbara!!! eventually i levelled them all, cause i knew that the last battles would be difficult with only half of the team in high levels!in these playthroughs i focused on battles and arena victory!!and i have to admit that i was kinda sad cause i missed some quests and aspects of the original game!

oh well..i hope my 8th playthrough will be when the super-duper "All the characters Goodie" will be released!!! +::biggrin

but Indy, if you release such a goodie please hide a key to Melusine's castle somewhere-it would be nice to keep Jas and be able to visit Mel's palace as well!!! +::biggrin

i hope my 8th playthrough will be when the super-duper "All the characters Goodie" will be released!!!

I will probably release this at some point. Please remind me in April lol

As for the key, I don't think it's a possibility for now. It would me redoing a lot of things (interactivity things mostly).
