oh oh oh ooooo....love the floating scrolls! +::biggrin Especially the ones in the Shrines!!!! I got a better understanding of the promotions and what they gave. Decisions...decisions...decisions! +::biggrin

There seems a better flow, but I sure miss Marine's skill on whether to tread softly and sneak, or make more noise to get more fights :razz: That's the only thing I miss with the MM1 upgrade +::cry I could level up a bit faster with that. Still great upgrade and trying to complete MM1 with as much as possible before going on to MM2 +::biggrin Hope I can finish them before you're ready to release the upgraded MM3 & MM4 versions before the release of MM5? or do you plan on releasing MM5 before the upgrades are out?

But you still can choose the encounter rate if you choose visible encounters.

+:oops: But I still picked story mode +::biggrin Used to be able to beef-up encounter rate by the noise-making, but now have to leave and return to those "regenerating" monsters.

It was never removed, it was never there in the first place if you pick visible encounters. +::Thumbup

Can anyone give me details over what the new versions of each Millennium games entail? I got the first two off of Big Fish because I'm a member there, but the the third and fourth I got off of here. If the game on Big Fish isn't going to be updated, I have to think about if it'll be worth it to re-buy it from here.

@Kirin - There are "floating scrolls" somewhere in each area (town) with instructions or tips. These are useful to new players trying out rpgs for the first time. There is a book (think in each shrine) that will give you information on what promotions there are (with stats) for each "un-promoted" player. Seems like some of the dialog has actually been "smoothed out" some +::lol I think the option for "guiding arrows" has also been one of the additions, too.

Spoiler: show
As a rule of thumb...imho...I normally purchase directly from the dev with exactly this in mind (upgrades). Indy did mention offering BFG the updated versions, but it all depends on whether they will accept them or not. So it all depends on whether you want to wait or not +::biggrin Since you have MM3 & 4 from here, you'd still be set to go no matter what.
Cheers! +::biggrin

Hmmm the new games are far more polished overall but the main differences are:
    visible/invisible encounters
    better dialogues
    detailed promotion stats
There is probably more to it but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.

I can't agree more. If you can, always support the dev directly. You do get updates immediately and you make sure your money goes almost entirely to the people who actually made the game. :)

@Nyx:
I'm not sure, it's not an easy game.

@Aggeliki:
I'll try to think about it. I may have another idea. I'll see. :)
