Imp again

I am attempting the imp quest and found the place identical to the screenshot posted on this forum, but the imp isn't there. He definitely shows up in the quest log. Is there something else I need to do?

No I didn't do nothing special. I got the quest went to the wrong spot a few times ahem but when I got to the right one he was there. I did the quest and left

If I remember correctly it's about two screens south of the north entrance to the snowy lands, toward the right side of the screen.

if you have started another savefile it may be due to a glitch in the questbook showing quests from another savefile.
In that case, make sure to take the quest at the Fighter's Guild first (in SankT Leona).

I'm definitely in the right place. Two sceens down from the entrance, up the hill by the winter bunny and identical to the screenshot. I got the quest from the fighters guild and checked as I always do that it had appeared in my quest book, Also although I have other savefiles the furthest any others went was the marsh. Oh well no imp quest for me then. Thanks for the help anyway.

O.K I got it. I misunderstood what was said about savefiles. The first time I went up to find the imp I got killed and loaded a savefile. I went and got the quest again and it was fine.
