Well, if you knead pastry for a cake or something it's not exactly "dirty", but that stuff still sticks to your fingers like dirt would!
Or have you ever peeled like 30 apples to make something out of them? You wouldn't believe how brown your fingers get!
So yeah, I consider cooking a dirty job!
