Question About Leanda

So, about Leanda: do you need to talk to her in LFII to get her in LFIII, or can you get her in LFIII without having met her in LFII? If someone can tell me the answer, it would be much appreciated.

As far as I remember, you get her in LF3 no matter what you did in LF2.
