Cuz yes, you can rename the main character in this game, in fact you can rename everyone, even your love interest +::heart

And if you're a girl you can choose to be rescued or to select a girl from the party to play as hers. +::biggrin

But for now, he is "the hero". The woman of your life has been abducted just before your eyes (almost), and you don't even know why. Do you have what it takes to go after her, and are you sure you are not going to bite more than you can chew in the process? But love doesn't calculate. Love is the highest form of emotion, and you just go after her... death or success, what will it be? Maybe YOU can decide on the outcome! +::whistle

It's getting even more interesting. But I have a question, the characters will come up without names and it will be up to the player to name them?

Yes. But if you "refuse" the ask, they all get a pre-determined name.

You must create a party of 4 so all you need is to name 4 characters. One should be you ahaha. Then how about some friends?

Actually, naming the party after real life friends sounds as a great idea. The game certainly becomes more personal because of that.

Yes, I did that for most of my playthroughs. It's even better when you try to select characters based on physical similarity and/or type of personality (you get an idea of that through a bit of dialog each chara offers before potential in-party inclusion).
