Q12 - can't find Melinthra

i think i messed up this quest.\
after getting Asterie i didn't immediately go to see Jezzrain - instead i ended up exploring Exhlon Hill before getting the quest.
now i have the quest, but the guy from the house with the windmill is only telling me, that he wishes he could go with me (before getting the quest he was saying that he had to think).
i exproled all the maps, and the only place i haven't been to is a cave, that has locked door.
do i have a chance of finding the girl or do i have to replay the game?

When you say "replay the game", does that mean you don't have a save file a bit before this point?

You are supposed to get that quest before going to Exlon Hill. However, if you really are going to have to start all over again, you could send me your save file and I'll try and sort out something for you.
