I'm only just in that first forest, but so far I love it! I love that monkey and Leo for trying to save him!
I hope it will go on like that (also in difficulty of fighting).

Sorry, but this game is not for me. I am getting used to invisible enemies by Aldorlea, but I absolutely detest sun beams in any type of games. I hated them when they were added in the hidden object scenes in HOGs, because they made it very difficult to see details. And there are plenty of those - so far non-stop - in this game.
I have come across sun beams not only in the daytime when walking through the forest and even getting into that first building (castle/church?), except when I went downstairs into the basement, but I also got sun beams (or were those moon beams) when I first travelled through the night. It very difficult for me to see things properly when sun beams are being added, and they are quite strong in this game, and all over the place.

Also, story-wise, I have not seen much I liked, just walking through the woods - with many dead ends - and stumbling over one enemy after another. I prefer a story-heavy game to one that has me fight my way through a game non-stop.

And yeah at night they are "moon" beams.

For me (so far) the fighting is absolutely okay. I've come to like invisible monsters more than visible ones, although I really hated them at the beginning!
But I do agree about the beams. It's definitely no reason for me to ditch a game, but I also found it a bit disturbing because they are quite dominant.
